Coastal Cabin (600m) walk to the beautiful white sands of Ruakaka Beach. | Cabin in Ruakākā

The Cabin is located on the back/rear half of the property with its own private space/garden area. (Private residence at the front of the property)
The cabin is approx. 20sqm with toilet, shower, small main bedroom, and separate living/kitchenette and decking around 3 sides.
The living area has a TV and DVD player and comfortable sofa, and the kitchenette is equipped with a hob, bench oven & small under-bench fridge with tiny freezer compartment. A set of French doors opens up the space, for indoor outdoor flow, to the small north facing deck and the garden. There is a wind-out awning to shade the deck during the day, and an outdoor table and chairs for you to sit outside & enjoy the sun & tree lined garden.
The bedroom has a queen size bed & a remote-controlled ceiling fan to cool you on those hot summer nights.
There is a small bathroom. The hot water cylinder is small (good for one long shower or 2 quick ones) & only takes 20-25 mins to heat up.
There is a Shed opposite the cabin which has a small under-bench freezer that guest may use. The outdoor chairs & table are kept here but there is still some space for guests to store personal items/luggage.
There is no washing machine on site, but Bream Bay has Laundromats…

• Waipu Laundromat at 38 Cove Road, Waipu 0510 currently open from 6am till 10pm
The Area
From the cabin you can walk to the 'Oasis' dairy, the 'Bach' cafe and the surf patrolled beach, and it's a short drive to a choice of local takeaways, supermarket and a couple of other cafes.
Ruakaka is approx 90 minutes from Auckland. 10mins to Waipu and Marsden Cove and 25 mins to Whangarei and 35 mins Mangawhai. 5 min to Waipu Golf Club's links course with magnificent ocean views.

IMPORTANT - You can choose whether you wish to bring your own personal linen (towels/sheets/pillow slips) otherwise we can provide linen/bath-towels at extra cost of $20 per stay, and beach towels extra $5 per towel.
NOTE: Our sewer system is a Mascerator system. Strictly toilet paper only down the toilet.
Check-in time 2pm, check-out time 11am.
Minimum 1 night stay. 4 nights during the high season and 3 nights over Easter weekend.

No Pets
On departure you are expected to wash the dishes and leave the property clean and tidy as found on arrival. Cleaning supplies are provided.
We may ask you for a bond to be paid at the time of the final payment. After inspection at conclusion of your stay to be returned to you less the cost of any damages.
