Welcome to South Greenslade Farm Lodge, a gorgeous wooden lodge set above the banks of Wimbleball Lake and enjoying stunning views across the water. Inside, the lodge is all set on one level. Enter through the French doors into the spacious open plan lounge, kitchen, diner with the lounge having comfortable sofas, an electric fire and a Smart TV with Sky. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining area has a lovely oak table and chairs. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, en-suite shower room and lake views while the second bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the large, decked veranda has picnic table and rattan sofa/chairs as well as a gas BBQ all looking over the wonderful views beyond, and at night with the dark skies you will enjoy plenty of amazing star gazing opportunities! The large lawned garden surrounds the lodge and is enclosed by hedging and fencing.
From the owners grounds there is a pathway that leads you down to the lake where you will find endless walks. Just under a 10-minute stroll along the shore takes you to the water sports activity centre where kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding and a children’s play are are available as well as a café to enjoy. There is also fly fishing nearby. Staying in exmoor National Park means you will never tire of places to explore, many wonderful villages with quaint tea rooms, country pubs and babbling brooks which can all be found within a short drive or why noy try and find the wild ponies living on the Moorland! The beach at Minehead is under 30-minute drive away where you can hop aboard the West Somerset Steam Railway that chugs both along the coast and countryside, it’s a great day out for all ages! Beach 14 miles. Pub and restaurant 2 miles.
