Located less than 4 miles from the lovely market town of Oswestry, Pentregaer Issa was built in 1823 but has now been renovated to become a beautiful getaway for couples or small groups of friends. After coming up the private driveway, guests can enjoy the living room with its comfy sofas, TV and electric fire. The well-stocked and homely kitchen offers a selection of essentials to get started with some cooking, as well as an Aga in the colder months to enjoy. You are also greeted with a lovely welcome with milk, eggs, butter, tea and coffee from the farm. There are two sumptuous bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and the other with a double bed, as well as a large stylish bathroom with a clawfoot bath and shower attachment.

The owners’ property is adjoined to the cottage, but will respect the privacy of guests and are on hand for help, advice and to do any essential washing of clothes at the farmhouse. Guests are free to roam around the 10 acres of the farm and explore the grasslands, meadows, woodland and the lake, complete with wonderful wildlife and rare species of flowers.
For those who want to venture a little further there is so much on offer within a 20-mile radius. Find traditional pubs and local shops in the nearby hamlets and villages, or spend a day shopping in Oswestry or Shrewsbury, both beautiful towns with historic buildings and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or a drink. Explore the wider region and travel across to Wales for Snowdonia National Park, the North Wales coastline, and beautiful Lake Vyrnwy and Bala.
