Summary: The lodge was clean, tidy & spacious. Enjoyed the location as it was peaceful. Enjoyed using the hot tub too! Couple of negatives - the shelf in the oven didn’t fit & collapsed making cooking challenging. The dining room chairs had wobbly legs which could be dangerous with youngsters or elderly folk. There were no maps in the lodge which would have been helpful for guided walks. Only one of the bathrooms contained complimentary toiletries. The afternoon tea was scrummy & the breakfast items tasty also. Beds & linen were all clean & fresh & cosy. Overall nice accommodation for a weekend break.
