The village and the surrounding area is great for dog walking but close enough for day trips to beach at either Hunstanton, Skegness or Snettisham.. Sandringham, Holkham Hall and the national trust Belton Hall is near by. Also near are historic towns like Lincoln, Kings Lynn and Peterborough.. The house is a good base for all these visits to the gems of South Lincolnshire. House is fully self-contained with everything for a pleasant stay in rural Lincolnshire

Summary: The property was comfortable overall, with clean & good quality bed linens. There were plenty of supplies such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, tissues, tea, coffee, cereals and a variety of condiments. There were also some ice lollies in the freezer. The kitchen had all the crockery and cooking pans we needed. Part used toothpaste in the bathroom beaker wasn't quite so good. The inflatable hot tub was a useful addition. The sofas were comfy and the TV had lots of channels. Not so good was the broken/sagging mattress in the main bedroom, the cobwebs and spindle spiders in every room, the dirty bedroom carpet, a bath with a non fitting plug which made it unusable, and a general need of a good clean. The grass in the garden was very scrappy, which was okay for the dog but I wouldn't have wanted children playing on it. With a revamp and damaged items replaced, this could be a really nice property. At the moment, I wouldn't choose to return.
