The Old Dairy is a lovely stone cottage which was converted from an old dairy, within easy walking distance to the nearest beach Cwmtydu; by car it is 3 miles to the beach but on foot, it is 1 mile. The Old Dairy is 4 miles from some of the most spectacular coastlines in Britain including Cardigan Bay. Many beaches are dog friendly all year round, if you are bringing your family pet on holiday. Visit delightful New Quay with picturesque houses, pubs and restaurants, the town clings to the sides of the hills rising above the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. Often bottlenose dolphins can be spotted in season, dolphin boat trips are available from the harbour, or you can just enjoy the sandy beach, have an ice cream and watch the boats. A little further up the coast the rows of colourful painted Georgian houses in Aberaeron cluster around the stone harbour which is the focal point of the town. Here you will find an array of stylish independent shops and a huge selection of places to eat and drink, from pubs and cafés to popular bistros and restaurants and of course, fish and chips and the famous honey ice cream. Aberaeron hosts a series of events during the season including the Festival of Welsh ponies and cobs, the Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival and Mackerel Festival. Beautiful beaches, iconic harbours, delightful towns and villages framed by the Cambrian Mountains make Ceredigion a delightful area to visit. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
