This totally unique holiday property is situated within the tower of a historic, Italianate style country house, which in years gone by was the summer holiday residence of Prime Minister William Gladstone and his wife. It was one of many grand houses built along the North Wales coastline for the wealthy professionals and businessmen from Cheshire and Manchester. Now divided into apartments, The Tower really does have the best views across the Menai Straits to Puffin island and Penmon Point on the island of Anglesey beyond, all of which can be seen from the wonderful tower bar on the third floor.
The location affords easy access to the best of North Wales, with historic castles, lovely seaside towns, magnificent mountain scenery and even zip wires and inland surfing lagoons. The little town of Penmaenmawr, has easy access to a lovely sandy beach and a good selection of places to eat and shop. It’s also a great location for arriving by train as the station is close by and the village is well connected by public transport and directly linked to the national cycle coastal route. Beach 300 yards. Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurant 200 yards.
