The house is set in a fantastic spot on the shorefront, sheltered by palm trees and with easy access to the marina and the beautiful beach. The pretty villages of Lamlash (0.5 miles) and Whiting Bay (5.5 miles) have a range of gift shops, restaurants, pubs, galleries and golf courses as well as opportunities for water sports including canoeing and kayaking. Heading north, the popular village of Brodick (4 miles) features a variety of attractions and activities including swimming pools, tennis courts, the Arran Heritage Museum and the popular Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park (6.5 miles). Heading further north, the island offers opportunities for mountain biking and hill climbing, with Goatfell (9 miles) dominating the landscape.
Entering this light and tastefully furnished holiday home, which was refreshed and redecorated in 2017, you will find the bright and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge is a wonderful space to unwind in, with plenty of seating, TV, DVD player an iPod dock and beautiful views. You can share favourite family meals in the pretty dining room and the stylish kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, equipped with a dishwasher, dryer, oven, fridge with an ice compartment, microwave and washing machine. The ground floor also features an attractive pool room as well as a WC. Going upstairs, there are four cosy bedrooms on the first floor – a single, a twin and two doubles. There is also a family bathroom complete with shower over the bath and a WC.
Heading outside, you can relax in the two extensive gardens which feature a sunny patio which is a perfect spot to sit back in with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and admire the stunning landscapes. From here you can watch boats sailing into Lamlash Bay, and you may spot herons, seals or a pod of dolphins or porpoise. Ample parking is available for up to six cars.
