Lovely new (2021 model) 2-bedroom static caravan, set in a park sitting directly on the seafront in northeast Kent. 3 miles from Whitstable and Herne Bay, with Canterbury 8 miles to the south. Stepping onto the promenade will get you on to the Saxon Shore Way, where you can walk or cycle along the entire Kent coastline round to Sussex in the south (should you feel that energetic).
We have worked hard to make the caravan homely and comfortable, with cdentral heating and air conditioning. The lounge is large with a 45" TV, Bluetooth hi fi unit and plenty of seating.
The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, a wardrobe, a dressing table and an ensuite toilet.
A cozy twin room has two single beds and a single wardrobe.
The kitchen is fully stocked and has a hob and oven with a microwave, kettle and toaster.
Three miles to the west, Whitstable is well-known as an ancient fishing town, famous for its oysters. The old town around the harbour is full of quaint independent shops, pubs and cafes.
Three miles in the opposite direction is the Victorian seaside town Herne Bay, home of the oldest public tower clock in the world. Neptune's Arm provides a unique view of the town, reaching out into the sea to provide a manmade harbour for pleasure boats and jet skis. The pier has a large funfair and also provides views across to Whitstable and east towards the ancient Reculver Towers and Margate in the distance
Eight miles south is Canterbury, with its stunning cathedral and winding streets. The city is set around the river Stour, where boat rides are available, starting from the High Street at the Old Weavers shop.
The caravan is on Seaview Holiday Park, sited right on the beach. The nearest railway station is Chestfield, which is one mile from the site on the flat. Trains run regularly to London Victoria and Charing Cross. From Chestfield, you can also get trains to Thanet (Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate).
