The property is two miles from the village of Dartington and is also near the historic town of Totnes where there are great shops and restaurants serving everything from Devon cream teas to locally sourced fresh produce. Within easy driving distance there are numerous gorgeous beaches and Dartmoor is only ten minutes away. You can take a boat trip down the river Dart to the pretty town of Dartmouth, you can go sea fishing from Salcombe, walk the South West coastal path or take a steam train along the river Dart.
The area is famous for its delicious food and there are numerous old pubs to discover or seafood restaurants serving local delights of all sorts.
