Cosy cabin with a big sunny deck and a light, airy living/dining room with a view of the trees. Situated in a private spot on the park.
Cabin is currently being completely refurbished for the coming season, to include new beds, deck furniture, a big awning, and more.
A comfortable space to use as a base for exploring the area, or to chill out and catch up with your reading/knitting/writing your novel.
Suitable for up to two adults and two children.
We provide bedlinen, towels, and all the essentials. Just bring yourself.
Cabin is a 1970s Scandinavian wooden lodge. We've tried to keep that feeling with plain white walls and floors and simple rugs and furniture.
The deck is big enough for games, and catches the sun for much of the day.
There are games, puzzles and books, and (very important for us) good lights for reading in the living room and bedrooms.
Cabin has good sized living/dining room, small galley kitchen with electric stove, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and the pots and pans, crockery and cutlery that you will need. There's a small shower room with washbasin and wc, and two bedrooms - the (small) double has a 4'6" bed and the (very small) bunk room has 2'6" bunk beds. There is a set of shelves in the bunk room and hooks in the double room, with more storage in the living room.
The cabin
Guests have exclusive use of the cabin, and shared use of the park facilities. Heated swimming pool on site (opening date to be advised, probably May 1st) and refurbished children’s play area. There is a self-service coffee shop next to the pool, open now.

The cabin is an ideal base for exploring the area. Newcastle Emlyn is our nearest town (less than 10 mins drive) and has quirky shops and some good restaurants and cafes. Recommendations for our favourites will be in the cabin. At the bottom of the road Cenarth has the Coracle Museum and plenty of tea and ice cream shops. The garage has a supermarket attached with all the essentials. We are close to the National Wool Museum and Caws Cenarth (fabulous cheese). Cardigan (20 mins) has a theatre/cinema, shops, cafes, an indoor market and is lovely for a potter - and a few miles further on is the wonderful Poppit Sands and the Teifi estuary. Other great beaches include Mwnt, Newport, Llangranog, Aberporth, New Quay (dolphins). The beaches in this area are fantastic. A bit longer in the car gets you to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Oakwood (theme park). Lots of good walking from the oldest woodland in Wales to the Preseli Hills. This being Wales, there are castles and nature reserves and waterfalls. St Dogmaels has a ruined Abbey and a weekly farmers market.
Our guests have been sea kayaking, visited all the local towns, been walking and bought far too much cheese. People with small children have visited Cardigan Island for their farm park and everyone has been to Poppit Sands! There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby, specialising in locally sourced food.
