The Space: High Force is a homely and warm apartment with great facilities for a self-catering stay in St John’s Chapel. Upon entering the apartment, you’ll be welcomed into a bright living space which features a modern, leather sofa and matching chair so you can relax after a full day of exploring the great outdoors. Lots of colour are added through the soft furnishings with mustard coloured cushions and a cosy throw. Turn on the flat screen TV to catch up on the latest drama or kick back with a good book. Towards the rear of the room, you’ll find a cosy dining spot which includes a high table and two stools. With a cool, industrial style, the dining area adds a contemporary touch. The perfect spot for enjoying a morning coffee or a bite to eat at dinner, this space is both practical and stylish. Through the square archway is the modern kitchen. With light wood cabinets and rose gold appliances, this space oozes sophistication. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and washer, so you’ll have everything you need for your stay. The first bedroom is a calming space with a neutral colour palette. There is a comfortable double bed with plush bedding and crisp linens so you can enjoy your night’s sleep at High Force. Either side of the bed, you’ll find matching bedside tables and mirrors in the alcoves. Ideal for children or teenagers, the second bedroom features two single beds. The modern and clean bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, WC and basin. Chapel Place is home to four separate apartments with a maximum capacity of 10. If you’d prefer to explore by foot, there are so many walks on offer. You can enjoy quiet river walks, the long distance Weardale Way or hikes to the higher ground overlooking the valley. It is home to England’s largest waterfall – High Force which our apartment is named after – and one of the darkest skies in the country where you can see 1000s of stars on clear night.
