THESE INCLUDE 2 PUBS SERVING GREAT FOOD, A GROCERY STORE , POST OFFICE, A LARGE BIKE SHOP(WHEELBASE) WITH BIKE HIRE, SEVERAL CAFES , AN ARTISAN BAKERY , THE "HAWKESHEAD" BREWERY AND OTHER INTERESTING SHOPS.
THERE ARE ENDLESS WALKS FROM THE DOOR INTO SURROUNDING HILLS AND UP INTO THE PICTUESQUE KENTMERE VALLEY.
