East Head is a lovely three bedroom house in the centre of West Wittering village and just a short distance to the fabulous stretches of sandy beaches. West Wittering is a charming village on the water, there are some convenience shops in West Wittering village, for more comprehensive shopping East Wittering is close by with lots of independent local shops including a bakery, two butchers, greengrocers and some lovely gift shops.
East Head is ideal for a fun family holiday in the summer or a romantic autumn break for a couple, the sandy beach is as appealing in the summer as it is in the winter.
Walking through the front door into the sunny and spacious living room you will find lots of comfortable seating, open plan to the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to self catering for your stay, including, washing machine, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, microwave, electric cooker and hob. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, one king size, one twin and the third room with bunk beds and a family bathroom with shower over bath. On the ground floor there is also a WC, there is a clothes dryer in this room for guests to use.
Outside there is a lovely sunny garden with a table and chairs for 6, there is also a raised decking area with a bbq.
Parking is on street and its usually easy to find.
Wittering is famous for it's sandy beach at East Head. It is a great spot for watersports fans with windsurf, surfboard, kayak and paddleboard hire available on the beach. There is a nature reserve and sand dunes which makes for a lovely walk at all times of the year. The Saltern's Way is a cycle path that connects West Wittering with Chichester, via the Chichester Marina. This is a lovely route and makes for a great family day out.
The beautiful cathedral city of Chichester is a few miles north offering more comprehensive shopping and stunning walks around the Roman walls surrounding the city. Portsmouth lies a little further along the coast to the west, with the famous Historic Dockyard and and outlet shopping at Gunwharf Quays.
