Close by is Kingfisher Country Park, which runs alongside an 11 km stretch of the River Cole. It is a local Nature Reserve perfect for those who enjoy walking and the great outdoors. The local library is Glebe Farm Library which was the first library to be built in Birmingham after World War II. Shopping facilities can be found nearby at the Fox and Goose; however many shop in nearby Stechford just under one mile away by car, train or bus. Other nearby stations for commuters can be found at Lea Hall and Adderley Park.
