The house located within the Elizabethan ramparts in historic Berwick upon Tweed; England's most northerly coastal town, which has changed hands between England and Scotland 13 times. The town boasts magnificent views over the Northumberland coast. Many walks start from the doorstep, along the preserved town walls, the coastal path to St Abbs, or beside the river, spotting seals by the town's three bridges.
Berwick's narrow streets are filled with individual restaurants, pubs, shops and on the outskirts lie the main supermarkets.
