Bowlees is the ideal base for exploring so if you love walking, hiking, running, cycling or horse riding, this dog friendly apartment will be your perfect match!
The Space:
Bowless is a recently refurbished one bedroom apartment with plenty of style. The open plan kitchen, living and dining space is the social hub of the property and has a homely and welcoming feel.
The kitchen is tucked away to the left as you enter the room and is fully equipped with everything you need for your self-catering break. Featuring white, high shine kitchen cabinets and white tiles, it is a modern and clean space. There is an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine and coffee maker so you can make the most of the facilities during your stay.
There is a breakfast bar style dining area and wooden bar stools with metal pin legs. Whether you're ordering in a takeaway or cooking up a storm in the kitchen, this is the perfect spot to enjoy your meals throughout your visit.
The living area is comfortable and cosy. There is a leather sofa and matching chair so you can relax after a long day of exploring the great outdoors. In the corner, there is a flat screen TV which has Freeview so you can keep up with your favourite shows. The space is decorated with splashes of mustard yellow, wooden ornaments and a tall plant.
You'll enjoy your nights sleep at Bowlees as the double bedroom features a comfy mattress along with premium bedding and linens. There is a neutral colour scheme which is complimented with mustard soft furnishings.
The modern and clean bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, WC and basin.
Chapel Place is home to four separate apartments with a maximum capacity of 10. If you are looking for a stay for a large group there are often opportunities to rent all four apartments together. Please send us an email with your preferred dates for availability and prices.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free parking on the premises for one car. Additional free parking can be found nearby, and full details will be sent to you before check in.
Please note that the WiFi can be intermittent due to the property being in a remote area.

The Neighborhood:
The area is so beautiful, it makes up the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With thriving wildlife, a historic landscape and stunning scenery, it really does need to be seen to be believed. It is home to England's largest waterfall and one of the darkest skies in the country where you can see 1000s of stars on clear night.
Other Things to Note:
The TV signal and wi-fi is intermittent due to location (remote Weardale valley) and no refunds will be given on the basis that the connection is not reliable.
