The Space:
Low Force has an open living, dining and kitchen space with a bright and stylish finish. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay in the North East as it features an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine. There is even a coffee machine so you can enjoy fresh coffee each morning!
The living space has a cosy and homely feel. It includes a comfy leather sofa and matching tub chair as well as a flat screen TV. Ideal for relaxing, you can snuggle up and watch your favourite shows or get lost in a good book. The living area has been stylishly designed with jewel tones of mustard yellow and subtle textures and prints.
Next to the kitchen on the back wall is the tall dining table and dining stools. With an industrial style to the furniture, this spot adds a cool feel to the open plan space. It is the ideal place for enjoying late breakfasts after a lie in and dinner on an evening.
Head to the bedroom and you’ll find a tranquil haven. The double bed features plush bedding and premium linens as well as mustard soft furnishings. The bed is framed with bedsides tables tucked into alcoves and tall mirrors above. Beautiful views of the countryside can be seen from the bedroom window and the birds can be heard singing on a morning.
The modern and clean bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, WC and basin.

Low Force is located in the charming village of St John’s Chapel in Weardale, on the south side of the River Wear. The largest village in the upper dale, this spot is especially popular with cyclists and walkers. A great location for those doing the alternative C2C route or trying their hand at challenges by Roof of England Cycling, there is plenty for you to discover on two wheels. If you’d prefer to explore by foot, there are so many walks on offer. You can enjoy quiet river walks, the long distance Weardale Way or hikes to the higher ground overlooking the valley.
The area is so beautiful, it makes up the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With thriving wildlife, a historic landscape and stunning scenery, it really does need to be seen to be believed. It is home to England’s largest waterfall and one of the darkest skies in the country where you can see 1000s of stars on clear night.

The TV signal and wi-fi is intermittent due to location (remote Weardale valley) and no refunds will be given on the basis that the connection is not reliable.
