The Space:
As you explore inside the property, you’ll find the beautiful living area. There is a cosy vibe throughout the whole house, but this is especially evident in this room with its comfy corner sofa and a combination of bright and dark wall decor. Complete with a flat-screen TV, this is the perfect spot to relax with your family and friends.
The striking kitchen has been designed and decorated to the highest standard. It is complete with a coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave, oven & hobs and a toaster. The open plan kitchen diner is spacious and light making it perfect for family breakfasts and relaxed evening meals. You’ll also find an additional seating area, along with a flat-screen TV.
From here, you’ll discover the fully enclosed and secure garden which is overlooked by trees and also boasts a patio space. Relax at the seating area and enjoy the fresh North Yorkshire air.
Upstairs, you’ll find three spacious bedrooms sleeping up to five guests in total. Each room is light and airy with a homely feel. The clean and modern styles work faultlessly to create calming spaces.
The main bedroom has beautiful interiors and fittings, along with a bright ensuite shower room. The comfy king-size bed is guaranteed to provide guests with a blissful night’s sleep.
The second bedroom is a sophisticated oasis with calming neutral tones and pops of baby blue. The double room is complete with hangers and homely features which add some personal touches to the space.
In the third bedroom, you’ll find a single bed so it’s ideal for children or a friend. As is the case in the living room and kitchen, the TV is equipped with Sky so you’ll be able to keep up with your favourite shows during your stay at Lane’s End. A single trundle bed can also be made up in this room upon request, increasing the occupancy to six.
The main bathroom is complete with a bathtub and a large overhead shower, as well as a wash basin and WC.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Private on-site parking is available on the driveway at the front of the property for up to two vehicles. Additional free on-street parking can be found on the surrounding residential roads.
The Neighborhood:
Lane’s End is nestled just a mile from the heart of Knaresborough. The spa and market town is the home of Mother Shipton’s Cave, one of the oldest tourist attractions in England. Explore the stone staircases and mediaeval streets which wind their way up and down the hill.
The town is bustling with charm. In the centre, you’ll find the market place which offers local products, plants and flowers. Stop at one of the quaint cafes for delicious home baked goods and a cup of tea.
At the bottom of the hill, you’ll discover a charming promenade where you can enjoy an ice-cream or hire a rowing boat to explore the River Nidd. Just upstream you’ll find the Nidd Gorge which is alive with wildlife and perfect for walks and picnics.
We’d also recommend visiting the Knaresborough Viaduct, which was built 1851 for the Leeds & Thirsk Railway. The Grade II Listed structure forms part of the beautiful landscape standing at 30 metres high and 100 metres long.
Getting Around:
Lane’s End is located just a mile from the centre of Knaresborough. This is where you’ll find Knaresborough train station where Harrogate, Leeds and York can be reached easily via rail. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport, 15 miles from Lane’s End.
