The Space:
The Westbourne Grande is a large, stone built semi-detached house with character in abundance. It has been tastefully renovated with stylish interiors and premium furnishings which contrast perfectly with the high ceilings and traditional features. As soon as you step foot into the impressive house, you’ll get the wow factor!
First up, you’ll find the living room. With plush velvet sofas and a flat screen TV in the corner, this part of the house is full of glamour and luxury. Light floods in from the large window to create a relaxing space and unique artwork can be found on the walls. Kick back on the sofas after a long day of exploring or working. If fun-filled evenings are your thing, a games room is also available in the basement.
Also, downstairs is where you’ll find the fully equipped, contemporary kitchen. There is a real sense of style in this space as glossy, brand new kitchen cabinets are paired with modern appliances and granite worktops. The sink sits in front of the window showcasing views of the private garden which is ideal for enjoying the fresh West Yorkshire air in. A neutral colour scheme works perfectly in this space. It is well equipped and practical with a dishwasher, American style fridge freezer, washing machine, cooker, kettle, microwave and toaster.
The dining area is a minimalistic space with plenty of style. The huge dining table is ideal for family breakfasts and meals with friends. There is a real focus on spending quality time with loved ones or work colleagues at The Westbourne Grande which is why the kitchen and dining area are open so guests can flow throughout both spaces easily.
With new wooden floors, ample space and comfortable, plush beds – the first bedroom, situated in the basement, has a truly tranquil feel. You’ll also find a shower room on this floor which features a walk-in shower as well as grey/beige tiles and a large light.
Head back up to the ground floor and then up the tall stairs again and you’ll find three bedrooms and the main bathroom on the first floor. Each bedroom has a relaxing and homely feel. You can expect a comfy night’s sleep as each room has comfortable beds and quality linen – one twin room, one king room, and one room with a bunk bed boasting a single bed on the top and small double on the bottom. Two of the bedrooms also feature ensuites with walk-in showers.
The main bathroom has a monochromatic style with tiles and silver accessories. The bathtub has an overhead shower and there is also a sink and WC.
Head up the next staircase again to the second floor. Here you’ll find the final bedroom and its ensuite shower room. The room is spacious and features hanging space so you can make yourself right at home. The bedroom has an impressive, sloped ceiling with spotlights.
All of the beds, barring the bunk bed, are zip & link, meaning that they can be set up as super-kings or twin singles. Please get in touch prior to your stay with your preferred bed layout.

Located one mile from Huddersfield town centre via Westbourne Road, you'll find the suburb of Marsh. Once a tiny hamlet, Marsh was developed in the mid 19th century and today it is home to shops, cafes and coffee shops. If you're looking to do a spot of shopping, Marsh has one of the busiest local shopping areas outside Huddersfield town centre. You'll find everything from grocers and butchers to bakers and florists. Marsh is only a short walk from Greenhead Park which is Huddersfield's largest park.
Marsh is just a short 30-minute drive from Holmfirth, a renowned tourist town famous for being a Last of the Summer Wine filming location. The popular thriller Happy Valley was also filmed in the area.
