Summary: I'd checked in online for a supposedly quicker check in at the hotel. It didn't seem any quicker than a standard checking in process. The guy behind the desk seemed pretty uninterested and wasn't particularly helpful. The room was tired and in need of updating. And one of the beds creaked continually, making for a disrupted night. Bathroom was passable. Only two towels for two guests (thought there might be hand towels too). Shower gel not filled (maybe this is an eco policy). Fortunately, it was just a base for the night and nothing more. There was nothing special about it at all.
