A few minutes walk in the opposite direction leads you down to the more relaxed atmosphere of Stockbridge which is full of fascinating artisan shops, bars and restaurants.
The apartment has recently undergone extensive renovation being careful to preserve all of the fantastic original period features such as marble fireplaces and fine cornice and plaster work. The main drawing room (lounge) has fully restored tall Georgian windows and shutters, beautiful high ceilings and a bowed wall. Wide plank oak floors, limestone tiles and granite all add a touch of luxury to this spacious accommodation.
