Please note that access to the apartment has a narrow walk way and at the narrowest point is 46cm. So any person/luggage/item wider than this will not be able to access the property. Please see photos of the narrow gap.

City Rd 5-10 mins walk is crammed with fantastic cheap and some award wining eateries. Too many to list but some personal favourites are: Ponnuswamy South Indian, 126, City Rd. BYO, Winner Welsh Asian Food Awards 2020 I Giardini Di Sorento, 12 City Rd, Italian superb, local favourite. Serves alcohol. Chilli Basil, 232 City Rd very cheap and authentic Thai, no alcohol. Mirchi, 90 City Rd. Indo Pak cuisine winner 2018, no alcohol. Mezza Luna, Lebanese, 159 City Rd, belly dancers some nights, serves alcohol. Aj's Coffee House, 20, City Rd, excellent breakfast, good quality ingredients and great coffee at a really good price. Nata and Co, Portuguese Bakery, 118 Clifton St, excellent coffee and pastel de nata, custard tarts 15 minutes walk to Wellfield road offering more upmarket restaurants, a personal favourite being: Troys Meze Bar, 15, Wellfield Rd, Mediterranean. Pooja sweets and savouries, 3 Albany Rd, for the best Indian sweets in town, our favourite, the Gulab Jamun. If you don't feel like going out you are 30 seconds walk to J and M, Szechwan Chinese takeaway excellent quality and very friendly. You are quite literally surrounded by eating experiences from all over the world, the list is endless. Pubs: The Four Elms, 1 Elm St, warm friendly atmosphere courtyard garden, good selection of ales, food and well known for it. 3mins walk. The Croft, lovely atmosphere with a talkative parrot who likes chips. 30 seconds walk. 10/15mins walk to Cardiff City Centre where you have everything.

Local Attractions
Roath Farmers Market Saturdays 9.30-1pm. Great organic produce. 5 mins walk to Mackintosh Square. Roath Park if fancy an inner-city walk around the lake and through the arboretum, gardens and botanical greenhouse. Rose St Flea Market open Saturdays for a good rummage and chat with its quirky owner. 2mins walk. Just in case Pass the Keys don't mention these in the broader tourist attractions of Cardiff don't miss: Cardiff Central Market, pick up some excellent fish for supper selling off cheap at 4:30pm. All of the Victorian Arcades in Cardiff, especially Castle arcade that has a tiny independent café upstairs. A Walk along the river and stop off at The secret garden café in Bute Park.

Cardiff Queen Street station, 10 to 15 minutes walk down Newport Rd

Buses
Buses: Just past Piercefield St on Newport Rd, although its barely worth catching the bus to the city centre unless you want to go to Cardiff Central Station.
