Tucked away in the charming village of Talybont, find tranquility and adventure at our lovingly restored 19th century stone cottage, Lerry House. Just a 10 minute drive from the vibrant seaside town of Aberystwyth and even closer to Borth and its Blue Flag beach. Wake up to the songs of birds in our lush garden overlooking the River Afon Lery. Rustic, full of welsh character, yet equipped with modern amenities. Experience the magic of Mid Wales from this historic cottage overflowing with charm.

OUT & ABOUT
The back door from the basement leads you straight out onto a terrace area. The back garden is split into 3 sections - the first with a paved terrace and plants, the second a grassed area and the third straight down to the River.
Talybont is a delightful village with a variety of shops including a pharmacy, a hairdressers, a Spar, a petrol station and there is the White Lion Pub serving a great Sunday Lunch. During the week it is open from 3pm and serves food.
A short drive to Borth or Aberystwyth if you fancy a day on the beach. The estuary and sand dunes at Ynyslas are great for dog walks and exploring with children. Aberystwyth - easily reachable by train, bus, car or on foot along the coastal path.
There are 3 close by train stations, Bow Street, Borth and Aberystwyth, that you can get to either by bus or car, if you are feeling really fit you could walk to Bow Street in about an hour. From these you can get trains further up the coast to Pwllheli, with dramatic views along the coast for much of the journey or inland to Shrewsbury and beyond to Birmingham.

The X28 bus runs through Talybont regularly throughout the day from Machynlleth to Aberystwyth via Bow Street.

Bedroom 1: King Size Bed / First Floor rear of property - The bedroom benefits from a partition wall which can either be left open with sofa or can be an additional room (you will need to provide your own bedding for the double sofa bed)
Bedroom 2: Bunkbeds / First Floor front of property - These are adult size bunkbeds
Bedroom 3: King Size Bed / Basement - with En-suite shower room. The basement also has a kitchenette area with kettle and toaster and the washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is a Travel cot & Highchair – you will need to bring your own bedding.

Guest access
Guest will have private access to the entire of my property along with the back garden.
The beds will be made up for an occupancy of 6. The property has the capacity of an occupancy of 9 if the sofa beds are used.

SELF CHECK IN
Check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is before 10am.
Please note: There is a £100 charge for lost keys and £50 charge for call outs, so please be careful with the keys.
BEDROOMS
3 Bedrooms – 1 x king size with partition room, 1 x King Size with en-suite, 1 x bunk beds (Adults can use) There is also an additional Double Sofa Bed in the partition room on the 1st Floor and a Single Sofa Bed in the basement. Both of these can be used but you will need to bring your own bedding.
AMENITIES
Bedding and linen is not provided for the travel cot or the sofa beds, so please be sure to bring your own if needed.
LOG BURNER
There is a log burner in the living room. You are welcome to make use of this but please use responsibly and follow the guest manual instructions, plus, please note you will need to provide your own fuel as we cannot guarantee any will be left in the household.
The doors should be kept shut when the stove is lit. When the burner is in use it gets very hot so please take care and use the tool provided to open the door to add fuel. There is no permanent fireguard, so if you have young children staying in the property, please use your judgement and extreme caution as to if/when you use the stove. Fire must be put out when not attended.
