Escape to the beauty of rural Shropshire with a stay in our charming country cottage, nestled in the picturesque Corvedale which is the broadest valley in the Shropshire Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our cottage has views over the Shropshire hills and this idyllic location offers an excellent base for walking, cycling and or simply exploring Shropshire.
The space
On entering the property we have plenty of space to store outdoor clothing and shoes.
Downstairs features two bedrooms; one twin room and one double room, both with plenty of storage options. Additionally there is a family bathroom, with shower over the bath.
Upstairs you'll be welcomed into our open-plan living area that seamlessly blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The spacious living room area is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Shropshire. Our fully equipped kitchen comes with everything you need, including a double oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. A washing machine and tumble drier are located downstairs. The dining area has plenty of room to sit six comfortably.
From the lounge step out through the patio door onto the balcony and take in the stunning views over the rolling hills and picturesque landscape that surround the cottage. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee or watching the sunset, it's the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of Corvedale.
Our cottage is situated a stone's throw away from the village of Aston Munslow, with our local pub The Swan Inn, reputedly the oldest pub in Shropshire, serving good traditional pub food. We're a short drive from the medieval town of Ludlow with its 11th-century castle. It has a reputation for the quality of its food and drink with many excellent restaurants and cafes, encouraged by the area's abundance of quality food & drink producers. We are also only 20 minutes from the picturesque market towns of Much Wenlock and Church Stretton.
The cottage is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, walkers and hikers and we are happy for you to bring your furry friends along. With numerous trails right on your doorstep, including the renowned Shropshire Way, our cottage is a walker’s paradise. Cyclists will appreciate the scenic routes and quiet country lanes. We also offer secure lockable bike storage and an outside tap to rinse off boots, bikes or muddy paws. Or for those simply looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views of South Shropshire.
So whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an active holiday, our country cottage offers the best of both worlds. And we look forward to hosting your stay.

We are happy for you to bring your furry friend along to enjoy the beautiful walking paths. But please remember the area around is a working farm and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. There is a cost of £20.
