Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful views and surroundings. The host family were extremely kind and accommodating. Great breakfast prepared and bought over to the bell tent at the time that we had requested. Huge area for parking very close to the tent which was very handy as I was in a very large van. The bell tent was in perfect condition and a comfortable size for 2 people. The bathroom/shower room had towels supplied and was in very clean and nice modern condition and close to the bell tent. The location and surroundings of the property had a traditional farm like feel about it which was very pleasant and there were various farm animals in adjacent fields etc which added to the whole feel of a countryside break. We were visiting the goodwood festival and this location was only a few minutes drive away. The host actually offered a door to door taxi service to and from the festival. The icing on the cake is the stunning pub only a 1 minute walk away which we attended both nights. I will definitely be staying here again subject to availability !!

Negative: Really not a big problem at all and I’m certain this will have been fixed by now but the lock on the bathroom door wasn’t working. We only stayed for 2 nights but I think for a longer stay it would be superb to have an electric hook up at the bell tent….. this would finish things off perfectly !!!

Summary: For what we needed, the whole package offered was perfect. Every box ticked !!!
