Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A friendly traditional old style pub. The staff were all friendly and the room was lovely and clean. Direct links by bus and tram from across the road to town. Dog friendly so we will definitely be back

Negative: No car park which I guess they get slated for all the time, however there is street parking if you don’t mind taking the chance of a spot being available.

Summary: If you’re looking for a traditional pub with a warm welcome then this is the place.
