Ramblers Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage built in 2009 and redecorated/refurbished in April 2023. Set on the edge of Powburn village in a small estate. This delightful holiday cottage (4 * rated Enjoy England) is ideally located between Wooler (9 miles),the gateway to the Cheviot Hills, with plenty of cafes, bistro pubs, shops and restaurants, and the historic market town of Alnwick, (10 miles) with it's majestic castle (Harry Potter),splendic gardens, and cobbled streets. Ramblers cottage is an ideal base to discover the Nothumberland National Park, as well as the beatiful heritage coastline. Visit Coldstream and Berwick upon Tweed, 2 of the border towns between England and Scotland. Newcastle and Edinburgh are also easily accessible.

Due to Covid-19 we are undertaking extra cleaning and sanitizing of the property.
We continue to supply bedding to all beds required, but we do kindly request that guests strip the bedding, at the end of their stay, and place in Wash Bags provided.
We also continue to supply all towels, including t.towels.
We do allow guests to bring their own bedding/towels, but must communicate this when booking or well before arrival date.
