Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property itself was very clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. No issues on that score whatever. Tv and wifi available. No washing machine though which wasn't an issue for us, but worth mentioning, as it might be for others. It did have a dishwasher.

Negative: It is advertised as being dog friendly. It isn't. It has a courtyard and a bit of grass. Then a main Rd. I have a spaniel. He needs plenty of exercise so not ideal. The problem is Jameston is a tiny village, and although there is a chip shop and a pub we were told it would be hit or miss if they'd be open. Neither were. We had hoped to wander down to the local pub have a few drinks and eat in the evening. Ended up going to Tenby. Not the owners fault in any way but it didn't help. The one bed however was so uncomfortable and certainly was down to them. Would I go again? Have to say probably not. It's just too isolated, and wasn't what we were looking for.
