Or you may simply take time out to enjoy the location with Benmore Botanic Gardens, historic Kilmun and magical Pucks Glen nearby. The area is one big outdoor playground, take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more.
Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Argyll's Secret Coast, take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart, or visit historic Inveraray. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.
Glasgow is just over an hour away via the Western Ferries or two hours by road via Loch Lomond.
