Bentinck is a beautiful Victorian cottage, which is refurbished to a high standard with modern bathrooms, kitchen and other facilities including new stylish furniture throughout. We have tried to retain some wonderful original features of the house where possible, whilst also having all the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing holiday.
Weekly stays are often significantly discounted, this will be automatically reflected in the prices when booking.
The Ground Floor:
- Large lounge/sitting room with TV/DVD player.
- Dining room with table to seat 8 when extended, with extra chairs provided.
- Play/quiet room, we call it “The Snug!", with TV/DVD player as well as many novels, puzzles and board games provided for guests
- There is a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas hob, electric oven, electric grill, combination (3 in 1) microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, fridge freezer, kettle, washing machine & iron.
- WC with hand basin.
- There is a small back garden laid to grass suitable for younger children, with a patio area laid out for al fresco dining.
The First Floor:
- Bedroom 1: The Pink Bedroom; King size double bed with White bed linen & Pink towels
- Bedroom 2: The Blue Bedroom; Two single beds with shuttle beds – these shuttle beds are suitable for young children if left at low level. If the shuttle beds are mounted on their sprung legs (easily arranged by an adult), they are also suitable for adults and older children. White Bed Linen & Blue Towels
- Bedroom 3: The Green Bedroom; Two single beds. White Bed Linen & Green Towels
- Bathroom – with a shower, WC and hand basin
- Shower room – with a shower, WC and hand basin

Bentinck is situated in a very quiet road off Ventnor High Street convenient to shops and restaurants and about 5 minutes’ walk from the beach and the Esplanade. Co-op supermarket, cafes, bakers and the post office are within a few minutes walk. Our favourite restaurants are “The Bistro” & “The Ale & Oyster”.0
