Squirrel Barn is a stunning Cotswold stone barn nestled on a quiet lane in the centre of Longborough just a two mile drive from Stow on the Wold and famous for the open air Opera. The barn has been sympathetically refurbished and retains many of the original features including exposed beams and stone walls. The cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms and boasts a bathroom for each bedroom. There is a secluded terrace area for guests to enjoy alfresco dining. On entering the cottage there is a fully equipped kitchen to the right hand side with built in fridge freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.
Just past the kitchen is a light and airy sitting room with seating for four guests around a cosy log burner. We provide a basket of logs and some kindling to get you started. From the living room there are double doors leading out onto a sunny, enclosed patio area perfect for alfresco dining and evening BBQs.
Upstairs the barn has a pretty master bedroom at the back with a contemporary en suite with walk in shower.
Bedroom two is at the top of the barn and boasts a king size bed and views over the roof tops of Longborough. There is a second bathroom on the first floor with a shower over a large bath.
The barn is pet friendly and we do have a high chair and travel cot should you wish to bring along babies and small children.
There is parking outside the property for 1 car on the roadside and a further car parking space in front of our garage at the back of the property
