Embleton Bay is a vast expanse of golden sands nearby and it is possible to walk from Newton By The Sea all the way to Dunstanburgh Castle just north of Craster.There are a good selection of local pubs and a golf club nearby to get a drink or food in the towns and villages along the Northumberland coastline which is easily accessible by car.
Please note: Station House is only yards away from a live railway line. This means that many high speed & freight trains travel on this route daily. All windows and doors are double glazed, but there is noise and vibration regularly from the trains and nearby railway crossing.
