Positive: Perfect location for exploring North Yorkshire. Lovely to hear birds, including cockadoodledoo & wildlife spotting. Host very helpful providing shower chair for elderly mum, & welcome treats. Good supply of local info, games & books.Herbs outside, tea& coffee provided. Very cosy, good views & lovely sunrise when not misty.

Negative: Nearby filling station has good shop for groceries but doesn’t sell newspapers.

Summary: Ideal basic good value stay in perfect setting for visiting North Yorkshire, Whitby, Saltburn & Moors.
