Located near Seaham Harbour and the East Durham Heritage Coast the Byre is situated on the ground floor at the eastern end of Easington Village's historic Tithe Barn. The entrance boasts a feature stone alcove leading through to the spacious yet cosy lounge/kitchen/diner with its electric wood burning effect stove, fully fitted kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, eye level microwave, integrated fridge freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. The main bedroom sleeps two and has a super king size bed which is zip and link and can be converted to twin beds on request. The large feature window with window seat looks out onto the grade 1 listed former Manor House Seaton Home. Bedroom two accommodates two persons and has a cosy double bed. The family shower room boasts an illuminated feature ancient door. There is also a separate cloakroom for your convenience.
Outside there is a private car park and garden for the use of guests.
The Tithe Barn was originally built by the Prince Bishops of Durham as a retreat.
It is located adjacent to a working farm operated by the owners of the premises on the outskirts of the village.
