Summary: Had stayed here before a couple of years ago and it was fine. Unfortunately, we booked another hotel for most recent stay in Huddersfield which closed down so we were transferred here. Issues with plumbing meant we were awoken both mornings at 5am by a loud high pitched noise, which we reported twice. Hotel also appears to be used as temporary accommodation for council; this resulted in a strong smell of cannabis outside the doors of the property and small group of residents hanging about outside drinking and smoking on the stairs. Manager did offer a free breakfast but we were on way out with our bags by that time. Such a shame
