Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I actually got married here last year and returned for a Halloween party and decided to stay overnight! We love staying here, the location is perfect, the views are lovely and the food is exceptional! The staff are wonderful. If you see my negative part underneath just know that the room we stayed in after getting married was perfect, i also think the rooms in the main building are better than the ones in the cottage building (maybe the downstairs rooms are fine?). That being said this is a wonderful place to stay! Super comfy beds and lovely countryside decor!

Negative: We booked a King size room but were given a family room which obviously we didn’t need as a couple and was actually smaller i think than what we should have had, it was a squeeze to get to the other side of the bed without climbing across it. There’s also not much room to put anything, like surfaces, trying to get ready without a proper mirror in the bedroom was difficult and everything seemed on a slant in the room we had. If we had kids it would’ve been great fun because the mezzanine floor is so fun for them and it’s pretty cool to be honest!

Summary: Perfect countryside location with gorgeous food!
