Sky television is provided. The cottage sleeps up to 13 guests plus cots in six bedrooms, and is thus ideal for family reunions, celebrations or small groups wishing to visit Lancashire. It offers superb self-catering holiday cottage accommodation in the Forest of Bowland, convenient for Blackpool and Lancaster, and within easy travelling of the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria and the Lake District. There are two spacious and attractive downstairs double bedrooms, which are especially suitable for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs. One has French doors that open out into a small paved garden. Off the hallway is a bootroom for hanging coats and storing shoes and walking boots. There is also a downstairs shower room with shower, basin and toilet. Upstairs are four attractive, newly renovated bedrooms: a double bedroom, two twin-bedded rooms which can be made into superkings, and a family room containing a double and a single bed. All the bedrooms have sloping ceilings and Velux windows. There is a family bathroom with bath, basin and toilet, and a separate shower room with shower, basin and toilet. A conservatory overlooks the garden area, which is visited daily by woodpeckers and other wildlife. The rear of the property has an enclosed garden with a huge fire-pit built into a seating area. We can provide bbq's for our guests to use.
