Summary: The stay at the Psalter Hotel was an extraordinary experience. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. We felt welcomed into a family rather than a Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. The food, the cleanliness and cosiness of the rooms were all first class. There was an added ingredient which made this hotel stand out from others.., a chef that made the most delicious focaccia, eggs royal and vegan breakfasts. The creative flare in the decor and displays, a Halloween theme was marvellously original… This little hotel gives any guest a little piece of heaven …. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so wonderfully special… we will definitely return.

Summary: We booked a small double room and were really surprised at how big it was. The room was spacious and well maintained with plenty of clothes hanging space and a lovely modern en suite.It was spotlessly clean and plenty of tea and coffee supplied. A really comfy bed/pillows and also a tv. We pre booked breakfast of which there was a good choice and the full english was delicious. We didn't eat from the evening menu as we were attending a wedding, but a couple we spoke with at breakfast said that the food was amazing!. The staff were very polite and friendly. We parked in the car park around the back of the hotel where there was plenty of space.I would definitely stay at the Psalter again.

Summary: The only thing I would like to suggest is you put a memory foam on the beds .that was the only thing I found not right the beds were hard.
