Nestled in a row of four cottages is our quaint cottage, located on a working farm surrounded by rolling hills on the edge of the Peak District. This cottage is perfect for couples, friends and small families.

The space
Churnett Valley railway is a short drive away and provides a wonderful opportunity to hop on a steam train and enjoy the ride. At the bottom of the valley is the Caldon canal with miles of waterside walkways to enjoy, if walking in the countryside is your thing then you might well have found the perfect place with an abundance of footpaths and bridleways, that meander through the surrounding area. Alton towers is just six miles away and offers rides for the thrill-seekers and Cbeebies land for the little ones. Hermitage Farm is just a short drive from Stoke, Birmingham, Derby and Stafford, yet in a tranquil world all of its own.
Step into the hallway with space to store your coats and shoes, wander through to the kitchen/diner which offers everything you need to rustle up a good meal during your stay including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. Come together around the dining table and plan the day's activities ahead. Put your feet up in the lounge after a memorable day exploring the surrounding area, curl up on the sofa with a good book or pop something on the TV and chill. Heading up the stairs, there is a double master bedroom with a TV and en-suite shower and WC. There is a further twin bedroom with TV and en-suite shower and WC.
Outside there is seating immediately outside the cottage providing a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Situated a short walk away is the shared gardens. Coming in winter 2021 you can enjoy a shared play barn and an outdoor seating area with firepit and BBQ. There is off-road parking for two cars.
