Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was very peaceful in a quiet village without much traffic. The room size was great with a good size wardrobe if it was needed. The bed was really comfortable with great pillows and bedding. TV on the wall was in a good place and had lots of channels. The bathroom is very big ... but the bath was very narrow which is odd. It has an electric power shower - which actually worked surprisingly well good news!

Negative: Bring a battery power bank - there were no free mains sockets near the bed. Sadly, the restaurant was closed on Mondays which meant a drive out of the village into Oakham itself.

Summary: Really nice staff and a very quiet and comfy overnight stop.
