Positive: The location is excellent and the house is well equipped. The bedding and bathrooms were clean

Negative: There was food under the sofa, there was a dirty sock under one of the beds, the decor was tired and overall the property felt grubby. I bought cleaning products and had to wipe surfaces down. There was a broken plug socket in our bedroom and in the kitchen. There was a broken fan in the living room and an old mattress in the hallway. The property smelled of cigarettes and there were cigarette burns in the sofa. The WiFi link didn't work. The bedroom lamps didn't work, the downstairs bathroom smelled and the drain was slow to empty. The advert said there was a sauna, there was no sauna. There was no way to light the gas on the hob. When I contacted the owners to complain I was told I must be imagining things as it had been professionally cleaned. I was asked to provide photos which I did, I've had no further communication from them.
