About the property
Woodpecker is one of four Art and Crafts style apartments set in peaceful grounds with beautiful mature trees and gardens. This cosy retreat is nestled under the eaves and tucked away in the treetops so you can enjoy a peaceful and private escape with comfortable surroundings and pretty views. Upon arrival, you will be treated to a homemade Devon cream tea to kick-start your holiday the right way. Should you wish to explore the area, Exmoor National Park and the pretty village of Dulverton are within easy reach.
The space
Venture across the wisteria-clad bridge and step inside your warm and cosy retreat. The apartment begins with a handy boot room where you can store your shoes and coats after an adventure through the woodland.
Venture further into the open-plan kitchen/living/dining room where you will be greeted by a delightful sage green kitchen with interiors to match. You will have access to an oven and hob, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a dishwasher and a fridge, while the handcrafted bench and dining table comfortably seats two guests.
The living area is complete with an armchair, a two-seater sofa and a window seat, which is the perfect place to sit and admire the treetop views or read your favourite book.
A small set of steps lead to the beautiful king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, luxurious bed sheets and fluffy bathrobes.
Outside, there is a small, decked area with a bistro set so you can enjoy alfresco meals in the sunshine.
There are plenty of places in the extensive gardens to stroll, picnic or relax, including the lovely garden house with its six-seater table and Green Egg ceramic barbecue.

The apartment is accessed via steps leading to a gently sloping path under the trees and a short external wooden staircase.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
