(During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan, with its famous round houses.
