The city of York has museums, shops, restaurants, theatre and the unforgettable Minster. There is a village pub and shop/Post Office and excellent meals can be found in the picturesque surrounding villages. The Georgian country market town of Easingwold is close at hand and day fishing, riding, golf and bowling are all available.
