The property is within easy reach of the centre of Ironbridge, which is widely regarded as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bridge itself was built in 1779 and holds a prominent position in the centre of the town, from which there is easy access to any one of the ten museums in the area.
