Welcome to The Old Police Station. It is a truly unique building, over 150 years old and Grade II listed. The huge lounge was once the local courtroom, the adjoining double bedroom, the judges robing room. There are a further 3 double bedrooms, one en-suite and a smaller room with bunkbeds. There is a family bathroom, we still have two cells one of which is now a shower room. Hatherleigh is a market town, with a supermarket and two pubs, just a short drive from Okehampton, gateway to Dartmoor.
We have two off street parking spaces, on a private drive opposite our property. We are a 15 minute drive to Okehampton, which is served by an hourly train service to Exeter. There are bus services to and from Hatherleigh to Exeter, Okehampton and Bideford. Bude is the nearest seaside, a 35 minute drive away. National cycle route 27 - the Devon coast to coast passes right past our front door too.
