Fairview Cottage is a grade 2 listed 17th century farmhouse. It has been lovingly refurbished by my wife and I to provide the ultimate holiday cottage for family and friends to enjoy. The property can sleep 12 and sits on 0.5 acres of grounds with a large garden and courtyard/patio/outdoor kitchen, including a pizza oven and hot tub. Wood & dough for the pizza oven, as well as wood for the log burner, are included with all reservations so can make use of these features of the farmhouse throughout your stay.
The space
The farmhouse is versatile. Downstairs boasts a kitchen/dinner (with extendable dining table) and two living rooms. The sectional sofa in one living room can be turned into a king room or suite, with its own ensuite bathroom and adjoining second bedroom. Upstairs our bedrooms are set up with friends or families in mind. The 2 main bedrooms are king beds, and bedrooms 3 and 4 have zip and link beds that can be set up as 2 singles or 1 large double bed. Upstairs has 2 bathrooms even spaced to support 2 bedrooms each.
Guest access
The farmhouse is completely private with its own gated drive, you will be renting the whole property for your stay.
The area
Fairview Cottage is set in the picturesque and rural location of Cobley Hill, just outside Alvechurch in Worcestershire. It is a beautiful location with scenic views around the property, including of the Malvern Hills.
It is a quiet spot, rural except for a few neighboring cottages and farms.
However, the villages of Alvechurch and Barnt Green are only 5 minute's drive away both have all the local conveniences you could require, including a supermarket, pub, post office, takeaway/restaurants, coffee shops, and pharmacy, and access to the Birmingham-Worcester Canal.
It's the perfect spot to get away from it all with friends and family.

The property is rural so guests should drive to the property. However, the property is 5 minutes drive from Alvechurch train station that has regular train services into Birmingham.
