Positive: The views from the windows were lovely and the location was good. The house was clean and quiet and it was comfortable enough once we had got over the initial obstacles we experienced.

Negative: 1) It was almost impossible to find the house when we arrived late in the dark and rain, because there were no instructions as to where the house itself was located on the estate and also we had difficulty in finding the entrance in the dark. There was no outside light to help us key in the code to the key safe, The member of staff whom we contacted eventually had to give us directions via the phone until we reached the house. There need to be precise directions on the website so that the property - and the relevant parking space - can easily be found. 2) When we were finally able to enter the property, the house felt very cold, even though the heating appeared to be on at the main control panel. It was only when we noticed that the numbers were faded on the thermostat in the living room, that we realised that the thermostat was on a very low setting, and we were then able to trigger the heating. 3) The space around the table in the kitchen was very small and there was not enough room for four people to sit comfortably around it. 4) There was an infestation of ladybirds in certain parts of the house, which we subsequently also saw mentioned in previous reviews., and we were unable to open the windows at all because they would come in in great numbers. Nothing had been done about this, although when I looked online I was able to find a way of deterring the ladybirds from entering through the windows. This involved placing pieces of lemon along the windowsill, as ladybirds do not apparently like strong smells. As you can imagine, this was not a good start to our stay
