A 20 minute stroll to the iconic Cathedral Close; its 800 year old cathedral, the Magna Carter, tower tours and other stunning historic houses including Mompesson House.
Ideal location for a weekend break or as a base to visit the many attractions that Salisbury and South Wiltshire have to offer. (Mompesson House, The Haunch of Dennison (with it's mummified hand of a card cheat) Stonehenge and Wilton House to name but a few ...)
Salisbury started as a medieval city and has architectural influences from then on so the buildings are amazing - if you look up!
To get a real feel for the history of the city we recommend the blue badge walking tours. There are ghost tours in the winter months.
Your hosts Janine and Mark have created a charming private space in their quiet garden on the South side of Salisbury. "The room in the garden" is completely self-contained with it's own outside space.
It is a spacious room with a Super King bed that can also be converted into twin beds, on request.
A light vegetarian breakfast is served in the main house (or outside, on the terrace, weather permitting).
There is off street parking.
Regrettably we are unable to accommodate pets or smokers.
